Wow! It is hard to believe it has been so long since a blog was posted here.
The past several weeks have been intense. Sharon's father had a heart attack in the middle of December. Since then things have been up in the air and what one would call "Touch and Go".
Then before Christmas she began baking and ended up baking about 1,000 cookies and small fruit cakes too. All of those were packaged and distributed to Japanese friends all around the city of Fukuoka.
Then came the decision on when and whether Sharon would travel to the USA to visit her mother and father. They are 80 and 84 respectively. Most of the past soon 41 years of our marriage we have been away from them living in Asia. So finally the door opened to purchase a ticket and she has been there for the past three weeks. Her father is stabilized in a nursing care rehab facility. It still is a serious situation with him suffering congestive heart failure and Parkinson's both.
Please remember all of them in your prayers. Hopefully, Lord willing, I will get back to writing again. I have missed it very much.
