Seven Powerful Prayer Promises

Seven Powerful P’s

Protect (keep) – shamar to hedge about (as with thorns), i.e. guard; generally, to protect,

Gen 28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep (protect) thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. KJV

Preserve – sozo to save, deliver, heal, do well, be (make) whole.

emPower – dunamis miraculous power, ability, abundance, worker of miracles, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. KJV

emPloy – engage or hire for work, put into service, utilize, to have a job.

Laborer - ergates a toiler; figuratively, a teacher, worker

Matt 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. KJV

Promote (exalt) – raise, elevate, lift up

Matt 23:12 For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. NIV 1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. NIV Job 5:11The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety. NIV

Provide – Jehovah-Jireh Jehovah will provide

Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. KJV 2 Cor 8:14 but you should divide with them. Right now you have plenty and can help them; then at some other time they can share with you when you need it. In this way, each will have as much as he needs. TLB

Plenty – saba copiousness, abundance, plenteous

Prov 3:9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. KJV Joel 2:26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. KJV

I use these seven P’s for others during the daily JPN Prayer Watches. The seven came gradually over a period of weeks and now have become a part of the daily prayer times. Each is represented in the Word of God directly or in clear principle. These are not “magic” words which are used in vain repetitions. But these are promises contained in God’s Word. Our part is to agree in prayer with what God has previously stated is His Will for His children on the earth. In intercession we are working with God in declaring His Word and Will upon the earth.

These promises carry the authority and power of God when prayed and spoken in Faith, Obedience and Love. Each prayer promise could be expanded into long Bible studies or sermons. The Holy Spirit placed these into my spirit to use when praying for others. I felt it was good to share them with you. Perhaps God may prompt you to use these seven in your prayer times too.

May God bless you as you Pray and Proclaim His Word and Will in the lives of others.
