Marvelous grace of our loving Lord,
Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt!
Yonder on Calvary's mount outpoured,
There where the blood of the Lamb was spilled.
Refrain
Grace, grace, God's grace,
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace, grace, God's grace,
Grace that is greater than all our sin.
Sin and despair, like the sea waves cold,
Threaten the soul with infinite loss;
Grace that is greater, yes, grace untold,
Points to the refuge, the mighty cross.
Refrain
Dark is the stain that we cannot hide.
What can avail to wash it away?
Look! There is flowing a crimson tide,
Brighter than snow you may be today.
Refrain
Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace,
Freely bestowed on all who believe!
You that are longing to see His face,
Will you this moment His grace receive?
Refrain

About 40 years ago when we served in Korea as missionaries I was riding a city bus on a very hot summer day. Everyone was uncomfortable and many seemed to be in a bad mood due to the heat and physical discomfort. The Holy Spirit did a special work in my heart and it seemed I was able to look at the people along the street and see how God viewed them. It was amazing! It was as if I could see what they would look like when they were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. It was a truly wonderful experience. It made me look at people differently than before.
Some times we judge people by their outer appearance and actions. Their soul and heart's condition may be totally the opposite of what we can see on the outside. There are some who seem to be so "bad" or non-spiritual that we determine there is no use in attempting to present the Gospel to them being sure they would reject it. How tragic!
Today was another one of those "Grace Days". As I drove along God gave me a very special love for the people I saw in other cars and those along the sides of the streets. I found it easy to pray and believe that they would somehow have the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believe on Him as their personal savior.
Recently someone wrote about the Coming Evangelical Collapse. Many are unhappy about the direction that the newly US elected government is taking. That is a valid point. It seems that we do not need to lean so heavily on political or even denominational leadership to motivate us in our personal lives. Christians have thrived spiritually through the centuries under extremely corrupt governments and church leadership. That usually points to persecution and hardships, but we were told to expect persecution. The problem is that much of the western world has only taught about, debated and observed the persecution of believers in other parts of the world. Maybe now the playing field may be leveling around the globe which will cause all of us to seek God's Face and Favor.
His Grace is still sufficient for all our needs. Once again, I feel encouraged about my walk with God and His ability to help us share His Love in a dark and cold world. As the world grows darker our small feeble efforts will show forth brighter than in times of prosperity and plenty. I pray that God will give you a "Grace Day" experience as you walk among family, friends and strangers. Ask Him to show you how these people look to Him. He will give you Eyes of Love more than you ever had before.
May God's Great Grace be upon you!

"Reaching One Among Millions"
Acts 4:33-35
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. KJV
